Employee Appreciation Event

A Playful, People-First Experience in NYC

The NEC team had the pleasure of working in partnership with Cohera to produce an employee appreciation event at the Altman Building in NYC. This event was centered on connection, energy, and shared moments. Designed as a break from the typical workday routine, the event focused on creating an environment where guests could relax, interact, and enjoy something a little unexpected. Our team handled event fabrication and production, building custom decor and interactive elements that transformed the space into a lively, approachable setting.

Inside the Event

Custom fabricated decor helped shape the layout and define key areas throughout the space, including greenery and a giant fabricated tree, cut from foam and painted by our team. Arcade games were also placed throughout the room along with an on-site custom clothing station to encourage overall fun while still keeping the atmosphere light and accessible.

A branded ball pit became a natural gathering point, complemented by a confetti photo and GIF activation that gave guests an easy, low-pressure way to capture the experience. Lounge furniture was arranged to create comfortable pockets for conversation backed by live music.

Everything was designed to feel intentional without being overly structured, allowing guests to move freely, participate as much or as little as they wanted, and enjoy the event in their own way.
