Event Specialist
On-Site: Primarily Long Island & New York City
Job Description:
At National Event Connection, our Event Specialists are the backbone of every live event we produce. From corporate gatherings and brand activations to large-scale live experiences, you’ll help ensure every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression.
What You’ll Do:
- Load, unload, and position equipment for events of all sizes
- Assist with staging, lighting, audio, and video setup as directed by production leads
- Reset venues between sessions or transition spaces during multi-part events
- Interact with guests, direct attendees, and assist with event activities as needed
- Remain on-site to support production staff and respond to client needs
- Safely dismantle and pack equipment during event breakdown

- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with guests in a professional, friendly manner
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing event needs
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move equipment
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and variable hours
