Sales Associate

Job Description:
We're seeking motivated Sales Associates to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building client relationships, identifying potential new accounts, and driving revenue across NEC’s wide range of production and entertainment services. This is a client-facing position that requires strong communication skills, a passion for events, and the drive to exceed sales goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients across corporate, collegiate, and social markets
- Identify potential new partner venue accounts
- Generate leads through outreach, networking, and industry research
- Conduct client discovery calls to understand event needs and present NEC services
- Prepare proposals and quotes in collaboration with the production team
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth handoff from sales to production
- Represent NEC at client meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently or in a team setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
- 1–2 years of sales, account management, or customer service experience preferred (event industry experience a plus)
